The clock mechanism of this clock was built by the Selfwinding Clock Company and is dated 1898.
The case is 51 inches tall and the pendulum takes exactly 1 second to complete one cycle.
The clock is powered by two dry cell or telephone batteries. The clock can be synchronized once each hour from an external source, providing the
synchronization signal comes between 5 minutes before the hour or no later than 4 minutes after the hour. Once each minute a contact closes
to activate external slave clocks.
